AppXS Technology
The technology that AppXS is built upon enables a user to share control of his or her computer with someone on a network or the Internet. The AppXS program feature allows the user to connect to his own computer from any other location in the world, see all applications of that computer and work on it as if he were on his own, and interact with it as if it were local.
Even if you have a basic server like the Microsoft 2003 server with some TSE CALs, or an SBS 2003 or 2008 Server, App-XS enables multiple concurrent connections, depending on the number of licenses purchased. Its technology is such that it reduces planned and unplanned downtime, facilitates server consolidation, and effectively manages a wide range of applications on Windows based OS. With Windows, it integrates clustering services and technologies to deliver higher levels of service and availability. It also manages user traffic across TCP/IP and UDP/IP ports to multiple back-end servers.
AppXS technology also supports the following in the most intelligent and hassle free ways:
Seamless application publishing
Universal Printing (*)
Load Balancing
Failover
Application Control
AppXS comes with a Universal Printer option, so that you can print your document from anywhere, any machine, without any kind of printer administration.
With AppXS, you can also use your USB key to securely access to your AppXS server over any network, from anywhere in the world, at any time. Also, what is more important to remember, that the AppXS USB client program is locked by your USB key’s serial number, so that you can run your remote session and access your data, as long as your USB key is plugged in.
In a situation, when 70 % of your IT expenditure is incurred on just maintaining the existing infrastructure, it becomes very imperative to improve the efficiency and availability of IT resources and applications through desktop virtualization.
The technology at AppXS allows you to take the first step by eliminating the old notions of physical compulsion of sitting at your computer, and allows you to enjoy your life as you would want it to be.
